Guidelines for Authors

Articles

Main Text:  Articles may be written in Romanian, English, French, German, Italian or Spanish, and the body of the text (the article without title, abstract, keywords and bibliography) should have between 4,000 and 6,000 words. Please do not use other formatting than Word default (as to page setup, paragraph indentation, line spacing, letter font and size, etc.).

Abstract and Keywords: Each article must be preceded by a 150 to 200-word abstract and five to seven keywords in the language of the article. Abstract and keywords in English should be added in case the article is written in another language than English.

Title and Author: Manuscripts should include, besides the main text of the article, the following information: the article title (in both the language of the article and English), the author’s name and surname, his/her academic title and institutional affiliation (keeping the original name of the university), his/her email address.

Citation style: The authors are invited to use the in-text citation style according to the following model:

Footnotes:
1) Only explanatory footnotes are accepted.
2) No footnotes referring to the title and/or abstract are allowed.

Bibliography: Authors are invited to use this (adaptation of the APA) style for the bibliography section:

Model 8: digital sources with DOI
If a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is available for the cited online source, use the following format: https://doi.org/xxxxx [Date of Access].

Model 9: audiovisual media

Model 10: images
In the event images are used, the author of the article is invited to include below the image/photo a caption with a reference to the source. If necessary, the user must obtain a reproduction permission from the copyright owner.

Book Reviews

The reviews should deal with recent (not more than two years since publication at the time of the submission) books on relevant topics in the field of the journal.
Book reviews should have between 1,000 and 1,500 words and should conform to the format recommended for articles (see Main Text, Citation Style and Bibliography). The manuscript should include the complete bibliographical data of the reviewed book. as well as information regarding the author of the review: name and surname, academic title and institutional affiliation, e-mail address. The review should be accompanied by a scanned cover of the book (JPG file).
